Had another good experience at Jan's. Arrived late on a Friday afternoon - just before closing. Sat outside, had the BLT on sourdough instead of a croissant and salmon, crab, and asparagus eggs Benedict. Good food all around. My wife loved the poached salmon, the eggs were cooked perfectly too. My BLT was a haphazardly thrown together but who cares? Tasted good and fresh - works for me! The REAL treat? Sweet potato fries. These are the most unique and tasty sweet potato fries I've ever had. Thick cut, almost steak fries. DELICIOUS! Server was Drew - he was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. No complaints!
Was a casual diner vibe for breakfast. There were a lot of menu options to choose from with some unique specials. Service was quick as we went during the week so it was not very busy. Overall an enjoyable experience
Jan's Place is our go-to breakfast spot when we are in Jensen Beach. It is always crowded, yes, but the wait isn't bad and there is sometimes availability at the bar. Plus, they have a cute gift shop to browse while you wait, as well as complimentary coffee. They have the best country fried steak (my fav!) and my husband fell in love with their Cajun Ribeye Benedict. Lovely staff and a great homey atmosphere.
This was a local star. Great friendly staff. Excellent service. The corn beef hash was fabulous, veggie omelet and french toast were delicious. They make their own pastry. Excellent
Well we are back again to have the greatest breakfast! Service was outstanding as usual we were greeted at the door 2 waitresses assisted us to the table outside as we chose to feel the fresh air. We ordered our same Jan's special dishes I had the Neptune eggs Benedict but asked to just have the eggs sit on tomato slices instead of bread. My son ate the meat lovers omelette. Both of us cleaned the dishes. We sat for awhile and no one rushed us. Outdoors was very relaxing and pleasant. We will return!
Visited here this morning and found the place to be very clean and inviting. I had the Crab Cake Benedict and enjoyed it, my friend had the cornbeef hash and said he isn't accustomed to fresh homemade Hash but liked it. The service was very very good and friendly. Try it, and let us know what you think.
One of the best breakfast places on the treasure coast by a mile! Lovely staff paired with amazing fresh to order breakfast cannot be beaten. We have never had a bad meal here before and the location is conveniently located right in downtown so you can visit some local shops after your amazing breakfast
I love this place!! The food is very tasty and the staff are very friendly. I usually go for breakfast. Their Benedict's are the best! My favorite is the Blackened Filet Benedict. The Cajun hollandaise is too die for. The little bit of spice in the hollandaise is perfect. They'll happily give you a sample if you're unsure. Portions are huge and priced well. The servers are very good and friendly. If you're not sure what to order, they are happy to help. Best place for breakfast, in my opinion.
Our gang of 5 enjoyed breakfast at Jan's Place Restaurant downtown Jensen Beach. Serves breakfast and lunch daily. Conflicting close times, either 2 or 2:30 pm. Full liquor license. Also outdoor dining. Street parking. Containers provided to bring home extra food. Friendly service. Big menu. Generous portions. We chose Breakfast Tacos, Fosters French Toast stacked with bananas, and a Stacked Rueben sandwich. Next time, instead of the Rueben, I will stick with one of Jan's traditional breakfasts. We'll return.
